Talented students from Oaklands College not only strutted their stuff on the catwalk at St Albans Cathedral, but also designed many of the outfits they wore.
Sunday’s Charitable Extravaganza Runway event was run in partnership with Cancer Research, with many of the clothes pre-loved items from the High Street store.
The free show was open to the whole community to enjoy Peter Walker Sculptor’s Peace Doves installation, in a different way while also raising funds for Cancer Research and was the last community event before the doves are removed this week. The event raised more than £1,000 for Cancer Research in just one day, doubling the shop’s regular daily income on a Sunday.
