Just hours before tickets go on sale for this year’s St Albans Pub in the Park, the full list of participating chefs and restaurants has been confirmed.

Pop queen Paloma Faith will be the Sunday headliner at the event, joining Tinie Tempah, Scouting for Girls and Olly Murs on the weekend bill at Verulamium Park.

Celebrity chefs Tom Kerridge, Matt Tebbutt and Simon Rimmer will all be at the St Albans event over the weekend of September 6-8, along with the ever-popular Atul Kochhar and St Albans’ very own Phil Thompson, of Thompson St Albans.

There will be dishes from UK’s best-loved restaurants, from local hotspots to far-flung nationally renowned eateries. St Albans’ own restaurant heroes Dylans at the Kings Arms (which features in the Estrella Damm Top 100 Gastro Pubs list) and Thompson St Albans (3 AA Rosettes) are returning to delight locals again. And also back by popular demand, culinary talents from the likes of Tom Kerridge’s two Michelin-starred The Hand & Flowers and Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Cafe Murano, amongst others. Plus, this year’s festival brings bold new flavours to experience, with The Abbey Inn by Tommy Banks and Hangfire BBQ both making their Pub in the Park debuts at the St Albans event.

Sunday Brunch star Simon Rimmer is set to unveil his new touring live music and food podcast series, Pod in the Park – an imaginary touring pub that will see Simon’s all-star line-up of friends joining him to chat all things food, drink and pubs. Also new for this year, Angela Hartnett will be bringing her Cafe Murano Book Club to Pub in the Park, a new cookery book pavilion where you’ll be able to listen to stories behind the latest cookery books and get your hands on signed copies live by the authors.

Guests can also discover the all-new fire food restaurant next to the revamped Firepit theatre, where specialist firepit chefs including those from Hangfire BBQ Smokehouse, will be cooking and serving dishes over the open fire. For spicy food lovers, chef Jack Blumenthal and his high energy Ginger Wings team will launch the new Wing Rave stage, combining tasty wings with an epic lineup of DJs across each weekend.

The biggest addition for 2024 is the new Kitchen Studio, an unmissable arena that will welcome food chat, live Q&As, celebrity interviews, live demos and masterclasses, plus live chef challenges including an all-new foodie pub quiz with stars from MasterChef: The Professionals.
