Townsend Church of England School is celebrating an excellent set of Sixth Form results, with students achieving outstanding outcomes across both A Level and vocational qualifications.
Staff and students were delighted to see the hard work, resilience and determination shown over the past two years rewarded with some of the highest grades the school has seen. Students are now preparing to embark on the next stage of their journeys, progressing to a wide range of prestigious universities, including many Russell Group institutions, as well as high-quality apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
Particular congratulations go to Head Student Daniella P, who has secured a place at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, to study human, social and political sciences. Daniella has been an exceptional role model throughout her time at Townsend and leaves an inspiring legacy for younger students.
The school is also celebrating the success of Deputy Head Student Jocelyn C, who achieved the highest grades of three Distinction* in health and social care and will be studying midwifery at the University of Hertfordshire.
Among other top performers where Ella A who achieved A* AA and an A* in her EPQ and Jessica T who achieved A*AA.

These results reflect not only their academic ability, but also their perseverance, character and commitment. It has been wonderful to see students secure places on such a diverse range of university courses, apprenticeships and career pathways, and we look forward to hearing about their future successes.”
