A new social networking app and portable office booking platform has been launched by a St Albans entrepreneur for women who work from home.
Flockhere is the brainchild of Danielle Wallington, and aims to shake up the local business scene by providing a supportive community alongside flexible workspaces for female founders.
She explained: “We’re not just another networking group. At flockhere we’ve got all the connections, networking, and business support — plus the amazing perk of booking a local workspace at no extra cost.
“I’m so overwhelmed with all the support I have received so far with flockhere, it’s definitely something that’s missing from the market right now when it comes to networking opportunities and flexible working space for women who work from home, and I’m excited to finally be able to launch this exciting new app in St Albans.”
Last week’s app launch event at The Hub was attended by around 150 people, including local business, exhibitors and crowdfunder contributors – who raised £21K in 35 days back in 2022.
