St Albans dental practice reveals sustainable Christmas tree

Aviva's sustainable Christmas tree

St Albans-based Aviva Cosmetic Dentistry has unveiled a Christmas tree crafted entirely from discarded plastic bottles and recyclable materials to highlight how creativity can transform everyday waste into something meaningful and beautiful.

Practice manager at the St Peter’s Street surgery, Uzair Ahmad Rasheed said: “Creating this recycled Christmas tree was our way of showing that sustainability can be both creative and impactful. We hope it inspires people in St Albans to adopt small eco-friendly habits and to recognise the role each of us plays in protecting the environment. Even simple choices can contribute to reducing waste and building a greener future.”

The tree was the idea of practice owner Dr Brindha Karthikeyan.
