Sleepover in The Maltings at The Alternative Beauty

There might have been the odd pillow fight, but The Alternative Beauty’s K-Beauty Sleepover, held at their shop in The Maltings Shopping Centre, was above all a celebration of skincare, sisterhood, and self-care.

Guests were treated to an intimate after-hours experience exploring the rituals of Korean beauty – from double cleansing and serums to soothing sheet masks – all while sipping herbal teas and unwinding in a serene, candlelit setting.

Owner Alexandra Sandu said: “The evening blended expert advice with playful pampering, offering both education and indulgence. With laughter, late-night selfies, and glowing complexions all around, the event captured the essence of beauty as a shared experience. A truly magical night where skincare met connection – everyone left glowing, inside and out. The event marked the first of many dreamy sleepovers to come at The Alternative Beauty.”
