The Victoria Street entrance to The Maltings Shopping Centre car park has been temporarily closed while a major refurbishment project is carried out.
Improvements include wider lanes, upgraded lighting and renewed road surfaces. The refurbishments are designed to make the entrance easier to use and offer enhanced parking in St Albans city centre.
Maltings centre manager Phil Corrigan said: “We ask for patience from anyone inconvenienced by the car park entrance being closed while the work is carried out. We will do our best to minimise disruption to residents, businesses, and shoppers during this period.”
Work is scheduled to last several weeks; in the meantime, the New Kent Road entrances and exits are fully functional.
