Samuel Ryder Academy students have received an exceptional set of GCSE and BTEC results, with outstanding achievements across a range of subjects.

The academy has seen more than 300 Grade 8s and 9s – the highest number in the school’s history.

Headteacher Kyle Barry said: “I am delighted with this year’s GCSE results. Our students have not only met but, in many cases, far surpassed their own expectations. These outcomes are a true reflection of their hard work and perseverance, and of the dedication and care shown by our exceptional staff. I look forward to seeing what this talented group will go on to accomplish in our sixth form.

“Among the many individual successes, we are incredibly proud of Yousuf and Noor, who each achieved an outstanding nine Grade 9s and one Grade 8. Aaryan also excelled with eight Grade 9s and two Grade 8s, including a remarkable 100 per cent across all three of his mathematics papers.
