SASA School of Performing Arts is keeping the stage open for all with a fourth year of funding for its Easter Showcase!
Based out of the Pioneer Club in St Albans, SASA School of Performing Arts has yet again been able to offer 30 free places for their Easter Showcase in conjunction with the Herts Sports Partnership Fund: Happy Camps.
It will be the seventh showcase that Happy Camps have kindly supported and what a difference that has made to young people and their families.
Across February half-term, St Albans district council also funded 20 places on SASA’s
Junior three-day workshop at The Pioneer Club. One mum said: “Without the help of funding for single families or low-income families this wouldn’t have been possible.
“I appreciate SASA for not only helping my child be more herself but for all they do, it’s like a community… everyone is treated the same.”
So far this year, SASA have been able to offer 53 free spaces for young people to access the performing arts. Funding has come from bodies including Happy Camps, St Albans district council and their own CIC (Community Interest Company).

SASA offers classes in street and contemporary dance, musical theatre and straight acting for students aged five to 18.
