It’s the biggest day of the year for comic fans, with dozens of exclusive titles up for grabs this Saturday – and they’re all FREE!
To mark the annual Free Comic Book Day, Chaos City Comics in Heritage Close will be giving away exclusive titles to customers on Saturday from 11am – but only five per person! – while stocks last.
FCBD was created to encourage newbies to explore what’s on offer a their local comic shop, and is supported by a host of publishers including Marvel, Image Comics, Boom! Studios, Viz, Kodansha and DC.
From Hellboy to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man to X-Men, Snoopy to Flash Gordon , there are stacks of goodies available for this year’s Free Comic Book Day.
Chaos City Comics owner Marina Desclavis said: “We’re expecting queues around the arcade throughout most of the day, so make sure you get here early to ensure you pick up the titles you really want.”
Other titles up for grabs on Saturday include new books from franchises including Star Wars, Monster High, Maleificent, Doctor Who, Street Fighter, and One Piece.
