Staff and students are celebrating another set of record-breaking GCSE results at Beaumont School, where academic outcomes at KS4 have reached their highest level since examinations were adjusted following the pandemic.
Headteacher Martin Atkinson said: ‘I am incredibly proud of our students for achieving such an impressive set of results this year. Their success is a testament to the hard work and determination of the cohort and the brilliant support they have from the staff here. I am particularly pleased to see such a high proportion of students achieve a strong pass (Grade 5 and above) in both English and Mathematics, which sets them up with excellent foundations for whatever they choose
to do next.”
The proportion of students achieving the very top grades (Grades 9-7) has also reached its highest level in four years, which rightly reflects Beaumont’s reputation as an exceptionally high performing school. Assistant headteacher Danielle Irving said: “In addition to their outstanding academic performance, this talented group of young people has truly shown the very best of our school community through their ambition, resilience and support for one
another. The year group has excelled beyond the classroom, making memorable contributions to school life through sport, music, drama and the Duke of Edinburgh’s award. I am incredibly proud of everything they have given to Beaumont and everything they have gained from their time here. We wish them all the best in the next steps of their education.”
