A soft launch for St Albans’ new branch of Vietnamese restaurant Pho saw a queue of customers snaking through Christopher Place Shopping Centre and into St Peter’s Street.
The restaurant, which officially opens this weekend, was giving away samples of soup free of charge until it runs out of supplies.
It is expected to remain open until this evening.
Pho’s new restaurant will accommodate 100 covers with an extensive menu featuring street food classics like fresh summer rolls, savoury and spicy curries and wok-fried noodles, alongside a variety of pho noodle soups – like classic beef brisket noodle soup in 12-hour bone broth, deliciously healthy ‘supergreen’ soup or a hot and spicy prawn noodle soup.
