After four months of essential maintenance and a complete refurbishment, the car park at Christopher Place Shopping Centre reopens today.
The works began in January and were sequenced to minimise disruption to the car park, but because the project involved taking up and relaying the concrete floor there were periods where different sections were closed, including a period when there was no parking at all.
The reopening of the facility was subsequently extended from March 10 to today, April 14.
Centre manager Catherine Morris said: “I’d like to thank customers for their patience while these works were carried out, and hope they agree that the finished product looks amazing. I’m very proud of my car park!”
