St Albans businesswoman Lisa Sinnott has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Solopreneur category of the national Everywoman Entrepreneur Awards.
Running for 21 years, Everywoman Awards are designed to recognise the achievements of female entrepreneurs from various industries.
Lisa started working with animals in her own business in 2016, with the help of the Prince’s Trust charity. She has since completed a postgraduate course in clinical animal behaviour with the University of Edinburgh Royal School of Veterinary Studies and now runs the St Paws Training Academy.
She said: “I love working with people and their pets. Getting a dog or cat can be one of the biggest decisions a family can make. Being in the final with some incredible business women who are changing the world for the better is a bit of a pinch me moment! I’m really delighted and can’t wait to meet them all and hear about their journeys!”
The gala final of this year’s awards will take place at The Londoner on December 6, where the winners of each category will be announced.
