Students, staff and parents celebrated some exceptional A level results at Loreto College in St Albans today.
Headteacher Lucy Thompson said: “Well done to all our brilliant Year 13 students. Once again, we are so proud of their achievements, with many outstanding individual performances like Caitlin Adair who has attained three A* and is off to Sommerville College, Oxford to read physics, and Cassia Moreo achieving straight A grades and will commence her studies at the University of Reading to read law.
“A massive congratulations to Maya Gregory who is about to depart for Glasgow to also read law after achieving A/A/B and an A in her EPQ. A huge shout out to Gabby Gomez Pavon who was successful in her application to Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and to Rebecca Iori, who achieved some exceptional results with an A*/A/A in maths and further maths. She is now ready for aerospace engineering at the University of Sheffield.
