As part of St Albans City FC’s plans to reshape its squad for the 2026/27 campaign, it has been announced that a number of this season’s players will exit Clarence Park by mutual consent.

Michael Bostwick, Alex Wall, Kieran Gauthier, Sam Smart, Gabe Ward, George Sippetts and Jasper Mather will all be leaving Saints.

However, Haziz Kone and Adrian Mariappa will remain at the club next season, joining captain Zane Banton, Alex Dyer, Kieran Petrie, Jack James, Lewis Page and Sam Donkin, who have already signed up for a new push for promotion in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Saints are also talking to Jamal Fyfield, Ryley Scott, Tom Bender, James Bone, Leo Sery, Jake Boxer and Thomas Jennings about the new season. Harrison Smith and James Sweet, who both struggled with injuries during 2025/26, are both now out of contract but may still re-sign for City if they get back to full fitness.
