An iconic bright pink shirt will be worn by the Saints as they commence their 2024/5 season in the National League South.
The new shirt is once again sponsored by St Albans rock band Enter Shikari, continuing their partnership of the past three seasons.
The design of the “Clash 246” away shirt, which is custom-manufactured by Hummel, is inspired by the vibrant synergy between the club and Enter Shikari, testament to the unity of sport and music culture.
Sustainability is also a key feature of the new shirt – it is crafted from high-performance polyester, with each one made from up to eight recycled plastic bottles, resulting in a silky-smooth fabric.
Lawrence Levy, joint-owner for St Albans City Football Club said: “Our new Clash 246 away shirt signifies the perfect blend of football, music and fashion, so whether you are a die-hard Saints fan or music-lover, this kit is all about community, style and making some noise.
“It’s going to stand out on the pitch – as we hope our performances will too next season. Plus, whether it’s worn in the stands, at a festival or on the street, it makes a statement and represents a movement.
“As a club, we’ve become bolder, our pipeline of talent is growing through new signings, the growth of the Women’s Team, as well as our own Academy and that’s extremely exciting for our community. We’re attracting new fans and audiences, in addition to those valued supporters who have been with the club for the long-haul. You only have to come down on a match day to witness the buzz that’s growing louder with every game. This new shirt really does capture that energy.”
The new shirt is available to pre-order online at https://fanzone.stalbanscityfc.com/product/clash-246-kit/ with a delivery date of early August.
