A brand new, free to enter and food-focused family event is set to take place in Civic Centre Close in St Albans city centre from April 11-13.
Organised by Zoom Events, the St Albans FEASTival will feature an eclectic mix of world street foods, handmade groceries and craft stalls with bar and live music in a
festival atmosphere.
The street food court will offer al fresco dining with stalls preparing dishes including pork or chicken souvlaki, burritos, authentic Philly-cheesesteaks, barbecued meats and traditional Thai, Chinese, Sri Lankan and Italian hot foods.
A selection of desserts will be on hand for those who still have some room left over, while The Famous Last Stand bar is going to be serving alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.
Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy live solo artists and bands performing on a small stage throughout the weekend, as well as browsing handmade groceries and crafts.
The organisers said: “With so many tasty treats, live entertainment and gift ideas to choose from there really is something for everyone at the FEASTival for people to enjoy as part of a visit to the centre of St Albans.”
The St Albans FEASTival will be open on Friday April 11 from 10am-5pm, Saturday April 12 from 9am – 5pm and Sunday April 13 from 10am-4pm.
