CD, vinyl, download or streaming?

I’m going to be controversial here… Partially due to the fact I’ve been lucky enough to have over 61 million streams on Spotify, I’m going to say streaming! I will say there is something magical about the sound of a vinyl on a record player though.

If you could have a conversation with someone who had died who would it be?

My Dad! I haven’t spoken to him in over 14 years and he was a huge inspiration to me and my music.

Have you ever asked for an autograph?

No, but I have been asked for mine quite a bit which blows my mind!

What’s your favourite meal? Beige foods. I absolutely love chicken nuggnuggs, pasta, pizza curly fries, burgers, turkey dinosaurs – imagine a child’s dream dinner and that’s me sorted!

What was your first job?

I got my first paid gig was when I was 14 years old!!! I started singing at open mics when I was 10 and managed to get work very soon after! I was very lucky to have such supportive network when I was young. I must say though, my parents were a little confused when I started a trend of wanting to compete in talent competitions on holiday from the age of two! They’d sit there, nervous wrecks, wondering who I got my love for being on stage from! They soon got used to the constant performances and I’m so grateful to have had that support from day one!

Have you ever been arrested and if so for what?

No I haven’t… I’m a very good law abiding citizen, but Prison Break is my all-time favourite TV series and I’d like to think after my extensive Michael Schofield studies I’d give breaking out a good go!

Dogs or cats?

DOGS!

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

They’re all on display in my wardrobe but I simply couldn’t disclose the number; I’d be branded a ‘crazy shoe lady’! How I dress and the shoes I wear have always been one of my favourite ways to express myself since I was a little girl going through my ‘Dr. Marten phase’ and bidding for the coolest pair I could find on eBay with my pocket money, to now where people say ‘how do you walk and dance in heels that high?’ when I come off stage and change into my Crocs!

How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

Not very long. I don’t have an inside voice, they’d hear me coming from a mile away! I always loved a game of ‘hide and seek’ as a child though, and I feel like it would just been one giant game of that outside in the wild, except if you get caught you turn into a zombie!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Exactly who I am, doing exactly what I’m doing now! Living the dream baby!
