Tulips from Amsterdam will be in full bloom at Willows Activity Farm next month as one of the UK’s biggest floral visitor attractions returns for a second year.
Tulleys Tulip Fields is scheduled to open on Friday April 3 and will be welcoming visitors until mid May.
Stuart Beare, owner of Tulleys Farm who operate Tulleys Tulip Fest, the UK’s number one tulip festival, said: “We’re thrilled to be returning to Hertfordshire for spring 2026. We welcomed thousands of visitors to the attraction last year and now have over 750,000 bulbs ready for our opening at the beginning of April.”
Planted last autumn, the bulbs have been specially selected to bloom at different times throughout the festival ensuring visitors will always enjoy flowers in their peak condition.
Stuart explained: “Our signature planting style ensures waves of colour throughout the season with early, mid and late flowering tulips blooming in succession which means no two visits are ever the same.”
The site is one-and-a-half times the size of last year’s attraction and features 15 different photo opportunities across the field.
Stuart added: “The blaze of colour and carefully placed photo opportunities mean guests can wander through the scenic pathways and discover striking floral installations that have made the festivals a favourite with photographers and content creators year after year.
“From a traditional farm tractor to a wall of Dutch clogs, to the ornamental windmill in the centre of the fields, every view is different.”
Hungry visitors can also enjoy street food including authentic Dutch poffertjes. The Tulip Coffee House will also be serving hot and cold drinks and there will be live acoustic music for guests to enjoy.
