Harpenden residents who missed out on a place at the town’s General Election hustings will be able to follow the event online.
With demand for seats at Katherine Warington School way exceeding the 220 capacity it was necessary to find a way to broadcast the event, which takes place one June 17 from 7.30pm.
The technical services provided by the school enabled the hustings to be shown live via their own online channel, giving a much wider audience the chance to see and hear all the candidates’ statements, asses the questions from the audience and some of those emailed to organisers the Harpenden Society.
