The ever-popular Music in Lydekker returned to the Harpenden park this weekend, with an afternoon of free live entertainment.

Performing this year was Threefold, a semi-acoustic covers trio, consisting of experienced musicians Adrian (Cajon, keys, vox), Sean (Guitar, Vox) and Gerry (Keys, Vox), specialising in interesting takes on songs and smooth three part harmony. They were joined by rock’n’roll soul band James and The Blue Moon, offering rich vocals, soaring horns and soulful grooves.

The event, which is organised by Harpenden Town Council, included food from Greeko Grill and drinks from The Bubbly Bar, but many of the visitors simply took a picnic and sat back to enjoy the music.
