Hundreds of classic cars, motorcycles and scooters parked up on Harpenden Common for one of the biggest events in the town’s calendar.
Highlights of this year’s show included a Chevy Bel Air rubbing shoulders with a 1927 Trojan, and a rare 1978 Matra Bagheera with a 1959 Berlinetta.
Organised by Rotary in Harpenden, it raised funds for St Luke’s School, a special educational needs establishment, Wheathampstead Community Group, which provides transportation to medical appointments, companionship for the lonely and luncheon clubs for the elderly, as well as providing grants, appliances and equipment to those in need within the parish, and Pump Aid, whose mission is to end water poverty in Malawi by 2030.
Classic vehicle owners make a donation to enter and, although there is no entry charge to the public, spectators responded generously when approached with collecting buckets.
