The Harpenden Society has announced a General Election Question Time event for the Harpenden and Berkhamsted constituency on June 17.
The hustings at Katherine Warington School will feature candidates from the following parties: Nigel Gardner, Conservative; Zara Layne, Labour (represented by Symon Vegro, chairman of the Constituency Labour Party.); Victoria Collins, Liberal Democrats; Paul de Hoest, Green; and Saba Poursaeedi, Reform UK.
The doors will be open from 7pm and all parties will have space leading up to the main Hall to display their promotional material and have representatives on hand to chat to people beforehand. The actual event starts at 7.30pm and finishes at around 10pm.
Each candidate with have a four-minute opening statement followed by audience questions and then a two-minute closing statement.
Only people with official booked tickets can attend and these will be checked at the door.
As this is the only hustings event in Harpenden expectations to question the parties is expected to be high. So it’s important to book your seat as soon as possible via the Harpenden Society website: www.harpendensociety.org
