Independent Harpenden restaurant Losh Bar & Grill has reached the finals of the British Kebab Awards 2025.
The Station Road eatery, which opened its doors in March 2023, has been shortlisted in the Best Fine Dining Restaurant category.
Owner Huseyin Uzum said this recognition reflected their dedication to delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences to their guests.
“From the very beginning, our mission has been to create an unforgettable dining experience for our guests by blending high-quality ingredients with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
“Winning this award would not only be a tremendous achievement for Losh Bar & Grill but also a great way to put Harpenden on the culinary map, showcasing the thriving food scene in our community,” he said.
Huseyin, who has been in the restaurant industry for 15 years, trained at his father’s award-winning restaurant in London, which earned the Best Turkish Restaurant Award in London in 2019.

Some of the menu highlights include garlic prawns, their signature kleftiko marinated in aromatic spices, chargrilled sea bass with a zesty herb dressing, and homemade baklava served with thick gelato ice cream.
