Award-winning Harpenden photographer Steve Collins has launched a 2026 calendar featuring many of his images of ‘Britain’s Most Desirable Town’.
The limited edition release features 12 seasonal images around Harpenden, including iconic landmarks such as Rothamsted Park, Lydekker Park, Harpenden
Common, Batford Springs, Southdown Ponds and The Nickey Line, as well as seasonal events such as the annual Summer and Christmas Carnivals, Classics On The Common and the town’s Christmas lights.
Also included is an early double-exposure image of The Harpenden Arms, which became the inspiration for Steve’s later ‘Harpenden Icons’ photography project that exhibited recently at The Eric Morecambe Centre.
Harpenden was given the accolade of Britain’s Most Desirable Town by estate agents Savills following a widely publicised poll.
Steve, who is also chair of Harpenden Photographic Society, said: “After the positive reception to my last two calendars, which both sold out, I’m delighted to bring out a new
Harpenden calendar for 2026. Once again, it’s a gorgeous large A3 format wall calendar, but this year is printed on a thicker 250gsm silk paper to feel even more prestigious, and the calendar section has been increased in size to provide more space to write in. Each individual image in the Harpenden Calendar is approximately A4 in size and look greats when displayed.
