St George’s School is celebrating another outstanding set of GCSE results, with Year 11
students achieving some amazing outcomes.
Celebrations began this morning as students collected their results and reflected on their achievements.
This has been a wonderful year group, and these results are a testament to the hard work,
determination and commitment that students have shown throughout their studies along with
the extraordinary support and guidance of our staff team.
This year, well over half of all grades achieved were at Level 7 or above — a phenomenal achievement and one that reflects the academic ambition of our students.
However, we are equally proud of the individual successes of every student, whatever their
results. Behind every set of grades is a unique journey, and many of our students have
shown remarkable resilience and perseverance in the face of challenging circumstances.
Every student should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved.
Headteacher Andy Ford said: “We are incredibly proud of our students and the results they have achieved. These outcomes reflect not only their hard work, dedication and resilience, but also the fantastic support they have received from our staff and their families.
“Every student has their own story and their own journey, and it is important that we
celebrate every success. We are delighted to see so many students achieving such
strong results and, most importantly, we are excited to see what they go on to achieve
in the future.”
