Award-winning photographer David Jenner will be giving a talk on creative landscape photography at the next meeting of the Harpenden Photographic Society.

David, who specialises in landscapes, commercial, interiors and products, is the creator of the panoramic Night and Day images, and has exhibited work at galleries, exhibitions and international art fairs.

He will be speaking at the Harpenden Trust, Southdown Road on Tuesday September 15 from 8-10pm. Doors open at 7.45pm.

Steve Collins, chair of HPS said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be welcoming acclaimed photographer David Jenner to the club as our second presentation for the new season.

“David is known for sharing his photographic journey and the creative techniques behind his stunning work, including his incredible ‘Night and Day’ panoramic images. We’re really looking forward to hosting him at HPS, for what promises to be another fantastic evening.

“Whether you’re new to photography or a seasoned enthusiast, do come along and join us.”

Celebrating its 90th year, HPS caters for all abilities – from beginner to more advanced photographer. Meetings are held from September to June on the first and third Tuesday each month, usually at either the Harpenden Trust Hall in Southdown or via Zoom. The varied programme gives members the chance to enjoy and improve their own photography, and to mix and chat with other likeminded enthusiasts. Regular guest speakers allow members the opportunity to learn and be inspired by the many different styles and genres.

As part of its 90th anniversary celebrations, anyone newly joining the society this year will receive a free copy of a 90th anniversary commemorative book.
