More than 160 people – many with their dogs – turned out to sing Christmas carols at the bandstand in Clarence Park on Saturday afternoon.
The singalong, organised by St Paul’s Church, Fleetville, included the annual fun competition to find the best-dressed festive dog, with many competitors bidding for the title.
The winner – by public vote – was 10-year-old labrador, Milo, entered by Ciara McInerney.
Christmas services at St Paul’s, Blandford Road, continue with ‘A Quieter Christmas’ at 10am on Wednesday December 17 – a short, reflective service away from the bustle of Christmas; Carols by Candlelight at 7pm on Sunday December 21st, ‘Pop-up nativities’ at 3.30pm and 5pm on Christmas Eve, and services on Christmas Day at 8.30am and 10.30am.
