Oasis fans disappointed they missed out on tickets for the band’s reunion tour can take solace in the next best thing at this weekend’s Pub in the Park.
Festival organisers have announced that top Oasis tribute act Noasis will be taking to the stage in Verulamium Park on Friday night to perform a selection of the band’s most popular and iconic hits, including Supersonic, Wonderwall, Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Live Forever and Cigarettes and Alcohol.
Chris Hughes, CEO of Pub in the Park Festivals, said: “So many music fans were devastated at not being able to get their hands on tickets to be part of the Oasis reunion tour, so we thought we would give our festival-goers the next best thing, which is the UK’s most popular Oasis tribute act, Noasis.
“We have been so lucky to secure this exclusive performance because Noasis are always a really popular festival band, but demand for the tribute act has rocketed since the Gallagher brothers announced their reunion tour.
“We can’t wait to see festival-goers in St Albans singing their hearts out this weekend to the best tunes from this legendary Britpop band who defined the ‘90s. It’s going to be a weekend to remember and hopefully everyone in Verulamium Park on Friday night will be feeling Supersonic!”
Other acts throughout the weekend include Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Levi Roots and Bob Marley Revival. Chefs in attendance include Tom Kerridge, Matt Tebbutt, Simon Rimmer, Candice Brown and Atul Kochhar.
Tickets: Children from £25, adults from £40, under 5s free.
