The Pioneer Club are continuing to put on a variety of events throughout December to ensure there are plenty of opportunities to support them and the local community, building on the success of the previous sold-out Roni Size event and last Saturday’s Northern Soul night!
Tonight the local music scene takes centre stage when local radio station Mix 92.6 bring their Live & Local event to Pioneer for a Merry Mixmas night featuring three top local acts and a Christmas singalong as well.
Wednesday night is a special Christmas edition of the Young Pioneers Under 18s Open Mic. With another strong line up of youth talent cutting their teeth on a stage, the night sees regular attendees return alongside some performers making their debut, all in a supportive and welcoming space.
Saturday 13th is a chance to party before everyone else with Disco Bliss and their ’70s and ’80s pop day disco. DJs will be spinning the tunes from 2-6pm so you can either get the party started early, or if staying out isn’t your thing, get home in time for dinner and an early night!
And finally, if you’re looking for something for that awkward in-between period then check out Nice! A House night conceived by three local uni students and DJs who wanted to put on a night for all the returning students and anyone else who enjoys a good night out!
2026 is already shaping up nicely with January seeing them once again taking part in Independent Venue Week starting on the 27th so be sure to save the date!
