The Great Big Walk for Herts is back for a fourth year and this year there are two dates to choose from to help raise funds for local charity Herts Young Homeless.
You can choose a midweek walk on September 17 or a Saturday walk on September 27.
Led by a guide from the Hertfordshire Way, the circular half marathon loop will start and finish at Brocket Hall and will take in Wheathampstead, Sandridge and Nomansland.
The event is £15 per perspm or £50 for a group of four and participants will be encouraged to raise sponsorship, all of which will be doubled thanks to matchfunding. The fundraising team at Herts Young Homeless will offer support and advice and the walk finishes with a tasty treat at Brocket Hall, who are one of the event sponsors.
Community fundraising officer Nicola MacKinnon said: “A half marathon sounds like a long way to walk, but this loop is quite flat, very beautiful and we will be taking it at a sensible pace! We are so grateful to Brocket Hall for their support this year.
“We would love to have as many people as possible walking with us this year and thanks to our partners, Helping Herts, all of your sponsorship is doubled so you will make a real difference with every mile you walk.”
There is no age limit for the walk (anyone under 18 must be with an adult) and dogs on leads are welcome.
