St Albans’ family-friendly autumn festival is back at Oaklands College’s Smallford campus on Saturday October 4.
Oaktober Fest 2025 will feature live performances and workshops from St Albans School of Performing Arts, farm fun including animal meet-and-greets, shopping stalls with local crafts, produce and unique gifts, food and drink, from street food favourites to classic autumn treats like toffee apples and candy floss, plus pop-up displays and roaming surprises, including Land Rover showcases, stilt walkers, and street performers
Visitors can also take part in a variety of pay-to-play experiences, including an escape room challenge, pumpkin carving, face painting, pony rides and a Build-a-Bear workshop.
Oaklands commercial head Simon Foden said: “Oaktober Fest is quickly becoming one of the highlights of the Hertfordshire events calendar. We’re proud to welcome the community back to enjoy everything our beautiful campus has to offer — from seasonal food and fun to family-friendly activities. It’s a day for all ages.
“The festival is part of Oaklands College’s continued commitment to making its facilities accessible and enjoyable to the wider community. Recent successful events include the Lambing Weekend and the Foodies Festival, helping position the college as a leading destination for both education and local entertainment.”
