St Albans’ annual whisky festival is back this weekend in a new location.
Now an established part of the UK whisky events calendar, this year’s event, on Saturday May 16, will be the seventh edition of the Summerton Whisky Festival.
But this year it will be relocating to the Hare and Hounds in Sopwell Lane, following an unexpected issue with its previous venue.
Expect to discover a wide range of incredible whiskies from fantastic producers, covering Scotch, English, Canadian and even Indian whisky, helping you find new favourites and enjoy bottles you won’t find in supermarkets in a friendly and inclusive setting. Suitable for those at the start of their whisky journey through to enthusiasts, the festival features an extensive array of whisky bottles, brands, regions and styles, ensuring a diverse experience for all palates.
Whilst afternoon session tickets are now sold out, evening session tickets are still available, which runs from 5-9pm. Tickets include all the whisky to be tasted and a tasting glass which can be taken away after the festival as a souvenir.
