A new dinosaur is heading to Willows this bank holiday weekend as part of the farm park’s Dino Ventures event.
Visitors to the leisure attraction, outside London Colney, can step back in time by more than 186 million years to see a Dilophosaurus on the farm from Saturday May 2 to Monday May 4.
The giant reptile will be joined by a Stegosaurus and a Tyrannosaurus Rex who will all be making appearances throughout the day in the outdoor arena.
Willows director Andrew Wolfe said: “It’s great to welcome dinosaurs back to the farm for another year. New for 2026 is the Dilophosaurus, a fearsome crested therapod, who featured in the movie, Jurassic Park, and we can’t wait for our visitors to meet them all.”
With seven interactive arena shows each day visitors will be able to see all three giant reptiles with their handlers and learn more about prehistoric life on Earth. There will also be a number of baby dinosaurs to meet in The Hatchery Show taking place twice a day in the Indoor Theatre.
Andrew added: “This event is a must for dino fans. We’ve planned a long weekend of Mesozoic madness with Jurassic arts and crafts, as well as the chance to dig for fossils in the farm’s Jurassic Pavilion and take them home with a certificate.”
In addition to a roar-some programme of Dino Venture activities over the bank holiday weekend, there is also all the usual Willows farm fun for visitors to look forward to.
