Hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists marched from Verulamium Park into St Albans city centre on Sunday calling for an end to the conflict in Gaza.

They tied teddy bears and other toys to the railings of St Albans Museum + Gallery to represent the children who have died during the war.

There were no disturbances and the crowd dispersed peacefully following speeches outside the museum.

The event was organised by a group called St Albans Friends of Palestine.
