St Albans-based band of brothers Princes to Kings are playing their first hometown headline show at The Pioneer Club in The Suet Yard on Saturday night.
The siblings will take to the stage one day after the release of their upcoming EP ‘Too Soon to Cry About’.
Over the last few years, the duo have played a range of festivals and shows across the country but this night at The Pioneer Club will be particularly special for them both.
Zac and Finn Pile initially started making music to raise money and awareness for epilepsy charities, since their eldest brother Luke lives with severe and complex epilepsy.
Since then they have developed their sound and passion for music, releasing their own material, written and produced themselves, taking influences from a variety of artists, old and new.
The duo have performed at a range of events including festivals such as Pub In The Park and Great British Food Festival, while also playing headline shows, including a recent performances at Camden Assembly and The Crocodile in Seattle.
The boys featured on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show as the Unexpected Stars Of The Show, and youngest member of the band, Zac, was a winner of BBC Young Composer 2020.
This year, the two brothers won the Hertfordshire Music Service Songwriter award and performed an original song ‘Love You The Same’ at the Royal Albert Hall. Their original music has had numerous radio plays through BBC Introducing and other stations.
All their original music is out on the major streaming platforms including three recent singles that are set to be part of a larger project.
