More than 100 young people from Scout and Guide groups across the district are coming to the end of rehearsals for this year’s St Albans Gang Show.
The all-singing and all-dancing extravaganza comes to the Alban Arena between February 12-15, and features many much-loved musical numbers interspersed with short comedy sketches and other routines.
it includes a breadth of musical genres spanning several decades, with hits from the likes of Basement Jaxx, White Stripes, Kylie, Taylor Swift, Status Quo, Little Shop of Horrors, Robbie Williams, Madonna and Dua Lipa.
Gang Show producer Hermione Drew said: “Rehearsals have been underway since October, and the cast and crew are thrilled to be building this exciting show together. Very much a collaborative effort, the energy and excitement is building week on week as we hone our singing, dancing, acting and comedy routines. The enthusiasm and commitment of all the young people and adults involved never ceases to amaze me. We can’t wait for show week at the Arena, the atmosphere is electric, and we love seeing so many familiar and new faces in the audience.”
