Fighting Cocks music festival returns for second year

The Fighting Cocks Fest at YOFC.

Ye Olde Fighting Cocks is set to host its second all-day free festival this weekend.

Co-owners Martin Robinson, Ian Baulsh and Sam Walker will be turning the pub into a mini-Glastonbury for The Fighting Cocks Fest on August 3 with 10 live bands performing.

Bands perfoming include Kaspar and the Swamp Dogs, Dom Glynn Trio, Ash Lambe & the 32-2o’s, Jack Trouble Duo, Enzo the Cat, Danny Toeman, Sarah Benhs Duoe and Savanah Gardener. As the sun sets, the festival vibes will head inside with a late-night DJ set by Chris C.

There will also be face painting and fire-eating performers to add to the mix.

Doors open at 12pm on Saturday August 3 and the festival runs until 1am.

Last year’s festival was a smash hit, as you can see from our photos.
