Panto legend Bob Golding is making a triumphant return to the stage of the Alban Arena for this year’s festive pantomime.
Three years after he bowed out from the annual show, the temptation proved too great to resist, and he will be making his long-awaited comeback as one of the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella, written by Paul Hendy and produced by award-winning Evolution Productions.
Bob told the St Albans Times: “I’m chuffed to bits to be heading ‘home’ for Christmas. Back with my dear pal Ian Kirkby and back with the fantastic team at the Alban Arena. Back in ST ALBANS! It’s going to be an absolute belter of a show, I can’t wait.
“Although I really can’t believe I’m not playing the Prince. Somethow they’ve put us down as the Ugly Sisters. I mean I can understand Ian getting cast, but me? The cheek of it!
“See you all at the ball! It’ll be like the good ol’days again!”
