Harpenden Photographic Society’s annual exhibition has been announced for Saturday April 27 at High Street Methodist Church, Harpenden.
The event features inspirational work from HPS members, with images including landscapes, macro, street, abstracts and the natural world, and features many award-winning images on display, including prints from the society’s Photographer of the Year winner, Paul Johnson.
New to this year’s exhibition are sections dedicated to images taken of Harpenden as well as at the 2023 summer and Christmas Carnivals.
HPS chair Steve Collins said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our photography exhibition back to the High Street Methodist Church, and I am excited that HPS will again be showcasing some of the finest images from our talented members in this amazing collection of prints.
“Our exhibition is completely free to attend and suitable for the whole family. This year we will also have a Harpenden-themed section, which is sure to be interesting, as well as a large selection of pictures taken at last year’s carnivals as part of the work we do to support community events – so do come along and see if you can spot yourself in a photo!”
The free HPS Photography Exhibition 2024 takes place from 10am till 4.30pm. Refreshments are available.
