An innovative scheme at St Albans’ newest coffee shop gives customers the chance to “pay it forward” and purchase coffees for those less fortunate.
Black Sheep Coffee – on the former BHS site in St Peter’s Street – is running a Free Coffee Board to benefit people who might be short of the cash for a much-needed warm drink.
Local legends Sharon Linney and Lynn Dutton of St Albans Action for Homeless visited the store ahead of its opening on Thursday to check out the surroundings and talk through the scheme with the team.
St Albans Mayor Cllr Anthony Rowlands will be officially opening Black Sheep Coffee tomorrow at 9am.
