A tech company has pledged its support for St Albans City Youth FC by becoming a Platinum Partner.
Internet service provider Lit Fibre will be providing striking new kits for one female and one male youth team over the 2024/25 season to help boost team spirit, as well as being the main sponsor of the annual presentation day at the Alban Arena in June.
Commercial manager at St Albans City Youth FC, Steve Mann said: “We are so grateful for the backing from Lit Fibre as our sponsor for the next two years which will provide the incredible support needed for us to continue to flourish in these challenging times. The improvements made to the club will help drive the team spirit and the new kits will give an extra boost to our young players’ morale!”
Stephen Andrews Lit Fibre’s community manager for St Albans and surrounding areas added: “Lit Fibre is delighted to be supporting St Albans City Youth FC as we continue the rollout of our service in St Albans. The club’s values and community focus are closely aligned with our own. We are looking forward to partnering with such an important part of the St Albans community.”
St Albans residents already have access to Lit Fibre’s 10Gb capable network, which is up to 18 times faster than the UK average, but the company will also be rolling out their service across the wider area.
