St Albans Cathedral hosts Carols on the Hour and Live Nativity

A record 8,000 people visited St Albans Cathedral for their bite-sized carol services, that took place on the hour every hour from 11am until 4pm.

The sounds of The Big Choir, Just Sing, Viva Ladies Chorus, Classical Chorus, Parish Singers, Abbey Singers and Lay Clerks of the Cathedral Choir rung around a packed Cathedral.

Hundreds of children also took part in a Live Nativity Trail, by journeying around the city centre, hearing from the characters who brought the Christmas story to life.
