We’re walking in a Willows Wonderland

Willows Activity Farm Santa Spectacular is back for Christmas!

There may have been more rain than snow, but the magic of Christmas was still evident at Willows Activity Farm’s Santa Spectacular this weekend.

Families should put aside a whole day to ensure they make the most of the vast number of festive activities taking place this year, from writing a letter to Santa to decorating a gingerbread man under the auspices of Mrs Claus (who will be a familiar face to OVO audiences!).

Crafty children can Create-a-Cuddle, selecting and stuffing their own plush pal from a vast selection of furries, including characters from Peter Rabbit, and decorate and build a miniature sleigh in the toy workshop.

Of course the highlight of any visit is the chance to meet the man in red himself following a merry meander through a winter wonderland featuring festive characters, nutcrackers and elves before reaching the grotto.

Every child who meets Santa will be given a special golden key to his toy shop where they will be able to choose a gift to take home from shelves packed with goodies.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Youngsters can don their skates and take to the synthetic ice on the rink, meet yuletide animals including reindeer Ivy, Silver and Holly, traditional sledding dog, Mischka and donkey, Dillon, and take a spin on Tristran the Runaway Tractor’s festive woodland ride.

And just when you think there really is no chance of seeing any of the cold white stuff, the power of wishes can make your dreams come true thanks to the powers on display at the Snow Fairy Show…

The Santa Spectacular runs until December 24. For tickets and more information, call 0333 331 2060 or go to www.willowsactivityfarm.com
