A star of West End hits Moulin Rouge and Matilda the Musical is becoming artist in residence at the St Albans-based SASA School of Performing Arts.
Misty May Tindall will be sharing her knowledge and skills to give SASA students an insight into performing as a career as well as delivering accessible choreography and high standard musical theatre performance.
Misty is a former student of SASA and has just enjoyed two years performing at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End. As a child, Misty also played Lavender in the original cast of Matilda the Musical
Founder Phoebe Shergold-Willis said: “SASA is excited to welcome Misty back especially as she will be launching a contemporary dance crew for local pre-professional dancers.”
Musical theatre classes run on Saturdays from 9.45am to 12.45pm at the Jubilee Centre for two age groups 5-11 and 11-plus. Contemporary classes are on Monday evenings at Fleetville School from 5.30 – 7.30pm. An audition date for Contemporary Crew will be announced soon.
