The Right Revd Dr Andrew Rumsey, the new Bishop of St Albans, is to perform at the long-awaited Zombies concert on Saturday night in St Albans Cathedral.

He said he is honoured to have the opportunity to perform one of his own songs and introduce the legendary St Albans School and Verulam School alumni on stage as part of the three-day Begin Here Festival.

Fans from across the globe will hear the band’s world famous hits including ‘Time of the Season ‘and ‘She’s not There’.

Legend Rod Argent was too ill to join in the sell-out event in 2024 but has now recovered to take to the stage with Colin Blunstone this weekend. We speak to Rod ahead of the gig in this week’s St Albans Times.

Over the three days, Zombies fans will have the chance to see, meet, mingle with the Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers, get their albums signed, dance the night away at a ’60s themed costume party, enjoy insightful Q&As and so much more!
