St Albans hairdresser Marc Trinder is celebrating after being named a finalist in HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2026.
Selected from an exceptionally competitive field of entries from across the UK, Marc has earned a coveted place in the finals of the Eastern Hairdresser of the Year category, recognising outstanding creativity, technical excellence and artistic vision.
The achievement places Marc among the industry’s most exciting talents and one step closer to taking home one of hairdressing’s highest honours.
The winners will be announced at the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards ceremony, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional and taking place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, on November 23.

Founded in St Albans in 2016 by Marc and his wife Sophie, Trinder Hair Studios is built on a mission to bring a five-star London salon experience to the local area. With backgrounds in leading luxury London salons, the pair have established an award-winning business that was recently named Salon of the Year at the 2026 British Hairdressing Business Awards.
