Flock to Willows for a lamb-packed half term this February

Lambing at Willows kicks off on Saturday 14 February and runs until Sunday 22 February

Lambing season is set to return to Willows Activity Farm this half term as the London Colney leisure attraction gets ready for its annual February Frolics event.

The nine-day celebration of fleecy fun starts on Saturday February 14 and runs until Sunday February 22.

Director Andrew Wolfe said: “Lambing is our first big event of 2026 and definitely one of the cutest in the farming calendar. We are expecting over 70 lambs to be born to more than 30 mule cross ewes.”

Half term visitors can head to the lambing pens where Tuck the Shepherd will be talking to guests about lambing on the farm, as well as giving lamb bottle feeding demonstrations.

Andrew added: “Sheep are typically pregnant for around five months, so the process has been carefully timed to coincide with half term. With so many lambs being delivered by Tuck and the team every day of the school holiday there’s a good chance that many of our visitors will be able to witness the arrival of newborn lambs and watch them take their first steps into the world.”

Andrew added: “As well as an un-bleat-able jam-packed programme of fleecy fun this half term, we also have all the usual Willows farm activities for visitors to look forward to.
