Who were St Albans Postboxes’ mystery Community Heroes for 2025?

St Albans Postboxes

This year’s St Albans Postboxes celebrated 10 surprise Community Heroes across the trail with a short message of thanks, waiting to be discovered, photographed and shared. The idea was simple: find them, enjoy them, and help celebrate the people who quietly make St Albans better every day.

“We’re constantly inspired by the kindness and hard work happening in this city,” said the St Albans Postboxes team. “There are so many people who give their time, skills and hearts to others. Choosing just 10 was incredibly difficult; we could easily have picked 100.”

The selection process focused on volunteers and community champions whose efforts support local people, improve wellbeing, lift spirits, or create positive change – often without any recognition. The chosen 10 represent just a tiny fraction of the good happening across St Albans.

So who were this year’s Heroes? If you haven’t managed to find all 10, we have details on each of the recipients.
